Localization versus Translation

Translation activity can be undertaken by anybody even the client himself, provided the client is willing to spare time to locate the translator and coordinate the tasks to be performed. Please note the difference and simplicity in the process of translation versus localization process.

Project manager: Receives the files and sends to translator

Translator: Receives the files and translates

Project manager: Delivers the files to Client

However, most simple looking translation projects are not really simple. They will involve project management, graphic engineering skills, and of course, other domain expertise depending on the task at hand.
