Assamese Translation
Assamese is the language of the eastern India. Assamese is one of the 14 official national languages of India. It is spoken by about twenty million people in Assam, an eastern state of India.
The Assamese language grew out of Sanskrit, the ancient language of the Indian subcontinent. However, its vocabulary, phonology and grammar have been substantially influenced by the original inhabitants of Assam.
Assamese is spoken and used in other states of eastern India like Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and the neighboring countries like Bangladesh & Bhutan.
Assamese uses the same script as of Bengali, which originated from Brahmi alphabet.
