Marathi is considered as the language of the Deccan. Marathi is the one of the 14 official languages of India. It is spoken in Maharashtra and the central part of India. It is also used in neighboring states of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Gujarat. Internationally, Marathi is spoken in Mauritius, USA, UAE, South Africa, Germany, UK, Australia and New Zealand.
