Oriya is the language spoken in Orissa, an Eastern State of India. Oriya is one of the 22 official Indian languages. Over 4 Million people consider Oriya as their first language. It is also spoken in neighboring states like Bihar, West Bengal, Assam and Andhra Pradesh.
Oriya language uses Oriya script, which originated from Brahmi alphabets.
