Punjabi is spoken in Punjab, a northern state of India. Punjabi is one of the 14 official languages of India. More than 30 Million people regard Punjabi as their main language. It is also spoken in the neighboring states of Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir. Worldwide, it is spoken in UK, USA, Bangladesh, Canada, UAE, Singapore, Kenya, Fiji and Malaysia.
Punjabi language uses Gurmukhi script, which originated from Brahmi alphabets.
