Responsibilities:
- Project Planning:
- Work with the leadership team to develop project plans, including objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, work breakdown structures, and risk management plans.
- Project Implementation:
- Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure successful implementation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
- Communicate regularly with project team members, partners, and stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Ensure compliance with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Project Evaluation:
- Develop and implement project evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of project activities.
- Collect and analyze project data to inform decision-making and improve project outcomes.
- Prepare project reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including donors, partner organizations, government agencies, and community members.
- Engage stakeholders in project planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
- Address stakeholder concerns and facilitate resolution of conflicts as needed.
- Capacity Building:
- Identify opportunities for capacity building within the project team and partner organizations.
- Provide guidance and support to project staff and partners to enhance their skills and knowledge in project management and related areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international development, social sciences, business administration).
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the NGO sector.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on team building and motivation.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
