Crystal Hues Limited Designs BLBA Logo

Belgium Luxembourg Business Association (BLBA), a newly formed trade association through merger of Belgium Business Association and Luxembourg Business Association in India, formally unveiled its new logo in the meeting of October 07, 2009. During the AGM of September 29th, members unanimously approved the resolution put in front of them to merge into the BLBA. With this formal announcement came the daunting task of changing the erstwhile logo and the marketing collaterals. After much deliberation this responsibility was awarded to Crystal Hues Limited – a translation and advertising company based in New Delhi.

The design challenges included a logo that would appeal to the aesthetics and sentiments of all the countries involved ( Belgium, Luxembourg & India) and a logo that projects a stronger collaboration with closer ties. Other design requirements included acceptance by all the members of and ease of use in all the Medias.

With the constraints well charted out and clear objectives, the creative team of Crystal Hues went to work on the project. The concept studies presented to the selection committee of BLBA were so liked by the members that they found it difficult to select between them. Best elements from all the concept studies were then seamlessly incorporated into an aesthetically balanced logo. The logo as finalized by the selection committee is published on the BLBA website (http://www.blbanewdelhi.org).
