Date, Day. A firm supporter of equal opportunity for all, Crystal Hues (CHL) has time and again conducted activities to promote diversity and equality. Taking the initiative forward, CHL will be sponsoring 100 children with special needs (CWSN) to the leading online creativity contest - India As I See. The contest sees participation from school students across India and is unique in encouraging CWSN to participate in this national inter-school painting and writing competition, where they can exhibit their creativity unrestricted.
The intention behind sponsoring CWSN is to let them explore their artistic creativity and embrace their individualism. A healthy competitive environment is perfect to help them develop their skills, give their best, and share their talent with the world in a confident way.
CHL supports i2u Social Foundation (an NGO support ecosystem working with hundreds of NGOs across India) to identify and engage the CWSN through their ecosystem of NGOs to participate in this annual creativity contest organized by FairGaze, a leading school media.
India As I See is a leading national creativity contest organized focused on school students. The objective of the competition is to nurture patriotism among the young generation, help students unlock their creative potential through creative activities like painting and creative writing, and provide a platform for students to showcase their talent at a national level.
The India As I See contest begins from 1July 2022 onwards. Students from grade 3 to grade 5 can either paint their imagination on the independence day or display the power of their pen. The topics for painting are the Indian national flag, Indian heritage, or favorite festival. Those interested in submitting an essay or a poem can write 100 to 150 words on any of the three topics viz. Freedom fighters and their struggle, swapno ka Bharat, or importance of Independence Day.
Children studying in grades 6th to 8th can either submit a painting or a 200-words essay or poem. The topics of painting are Indian heritage, festivals, and culture. The essay or poem should be centered around any of the four topics including freedom fighters and their struggle, India and its culture, unity in diversity, and the importance of India’s rich heritage.
The third category of the competition is open to students studying in grades 9 to 12th. They can submit a painting on Indian heritage, or favorite festival, or an Indian soldier. Students inclined toward writing can submit a 200-word essay or a poem on freedom fighters and their struggle, the new normal world, India as a superpower, or India’s cultural diversity. There are early-bird discounts available for registrations done on or before 10th July 2022.
To participate in the competition, one needs to log onto India As I See website and register. After registration, a log-in id and password are sent to the email. Using login id and password one may submit the entries at their convenience before the final date. A panel of eminent educators will evaluate the entries to identify the winners, which will be announced through an online event. All participants will be awarded with certificates.
Elaborating on the creative contest, CHL President Sudheen M remarked, “India As I See is a unique nationwide contest that encourages children to explore their creative talent. We have made sure the competition is fair and just for all, including children with special needs. The idea is to let students express themselves.”
